For this year I would give the Oscar to Michael Clarke Duncan who played a major role in the hit film Shawshank redemption. This film showed the trials and herd times of prison. Michael played a man who was sent to prison for being accused of rape which was not the case. He played a tender man who would not heart a fly and had a special healing power where he could heal illnesses and injuries.
This movie was filled with action and sadness, it was very well written and very intense, through this great actor you really got to see the emotional side of the prison life. Many people believe that guys in prison are these tough guys but really there are so many emotions for the men that reside there.
This movie told the story about a prison life and the hardness of it, it is a prison where they are on the waiting list for the electrical chair. I would not recommend it for younger children but for anyone that wants a fantastic movie and a good tear jerker, this is a great film and has quickly became one of my favorites.
